What happened in 2026
The 2026 festival ran 6 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, June 27, in Greer City Park, according to the city’s event page. The evening had live music, more than 25 food and dessert vendors, a Kids Zone, patriotic murals, eating contests, Sarge the Eagle and the parachute demonstration team Team Fastrax.
The Salute to the Armed Forces and Veterans on the Main Stage started at 6:30 p.m. with the Posting of the Colors by the Shaw Air Force Base honor guard, followed by the Preston B. Johnson Veterans Walk, a Daughters of the American Revolution lantern ceremony, “Amazing Grace” on bagpipe and Taps, according to the festival’s tribute schedule. Veterans walking in the Veterans Walk were asked to line up at the Amphitheater Stage by 6:15 p.m.
