Valentine’s Day 2027 falls on Sunday, Feb. 14. That matters in Greer: several of downtown’s best-known dinner restaurants are closed on Sundays, so the big night out is likely to be Saturday, Feb. 13. Book early; the restaurants below take reservations.

These restaurants list their own hours and take reservations; none had posted a 2027 Valentine’s menu as of Oct. 16.

  • L’Incanto, East Poinsett Street. Northern Italian. Dinner 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The restaurant encourages reservations one to two weeks ahead and requires them for parties of five or more; call 864-479-9333 or book on Resy.
  • Rick Erwin’s Greer, 104 E. Poinsett St., 864-527-5237. Upscale steakhouse with a dress code. Open 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 4 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday; closed Sunday.
  • The Great Bay Oyster House, downtown, backing onto the city parking garage. Oysters, seafood and sushi. Open 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; closed Sunday.
  • Crate Restaurant and Wine Bar, 213 Trade St., 864-334-5703. Its website lists evening hours from 5 p.m.

Valentine’s events last year

  • Greer150: 150 Years of Love, Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, Greer Heritage Museum, 106 S. Main St.: a Valentine’s Day program on “tales of love (and hate!)” across 150 years of Greer history, with showings at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., according to the city’s Greer150 page. It was part of the city’s sesquicentennial year; the museum had not announced a 2027 Valentine’s event.
  • Sunday Brunch Farmers Market, Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026, Greer City Park: one of the Greer Farmers Market’s winter Sunday brunch markets, listed on Discover Greer’s 2026 event schedule. The 2027 winter dates had not been posted.

Date ideas

  • Glamping at Hollywild. Hollywild Animal Preserve in Wellford opens its Nature Nook glamping cabins each year from Feb. 14 to Oct. 31, according to its website, with animal encounters for guests.
  • Greer Heritage Museum, 106 S. Main St.: open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and volunteers give free guided tours, according to the museum.
  • A game night: Trade Street Social, 315 Trade St., has golf simulators and bar games and is open until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
