Greer’s breakfast and coffee spots cluster in two places: downtown on Trade Street, where two cafes and a diner sit within a few blocks, and on West Wade Hampton Boulevard (U.S. 29), home to the chain breakfast restaurants. A few more are out on Highway 14, Highway 101 and in O’Neal Village.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records with a Greer address, the same data that feeds our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on 2026-10-16. We added Barista Alley’s O’Neal Village cafe, Eggs Up Grill and Greer Diner from their own sites; each also appears at a Greer address in the state’s SC Food Grades inspection database. We dropped two coffee shops we could not confirm on any official source. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. The places

7 Brew Coffee, 1409 W. Wade Hampton Blvd. A coffee chain stand. Its Greer store did not appear on the chain’s site when we checked; the state inspection database shows it inspected at this address in April 2026.

A&P Restaurant, 1526 Highway 14 S. A family restaurant with a classic American menu, cooked to order with no heat lamp, its site says. Its menu includes breakfast, and it has a drive-thru during open hours.

Barista Alley, 101 Trade St. A downtown cafe and coffee roaster serving specialty coffee, smoothies, crepes and pastries. It also hosts private events.

Barista Alley Cafe & Roastery, 530 Meritage St. The same company’s second Greer cafe, in O’Neal Village, where it roasts its coffee.

Eggs Up Grill, 805 W. Wade Hampton Blvd. A breakfast and lunch chain restaurant that also caters. Its location page lists mimosas.

Flying Fox Coffee, 208 Trade St. A specialty coffee shop with a kitchen; the kitchen closes at 3 p.m. every day, its site says. It has a second shop in Greenville.

Green Laundry Lounge, 10 Moorlyn Lane, Suite G. A laundromat with a cafe. The last cafe order is 7:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday, according to its site.

Greer Diner, 409 Trade St. A downtown diner serving classic dishes made with fresh ingredients, its site says, with full-service catering.
