Where it is
The city does not draw neighborhood boundaries. On this page Victor Heights means the residential addresses inside Greer’s city limits south of Poinsett Street (SC 290) and east of Main Street and South Highway 14, outside the downtown area, down toward I-85. New Woodruff Road and Highway 101 South (SC 101) run through its east side.
The city’s address file has about 2,990 residential addresses there, nearly all in ZIP code 29651. About 1,700 are in Spartanburg County, east of Line Street, and about 1,300 in Greenville County. About half are single-family homes; most of the rest are apartments, with some townhomes and mobile homes. Streets include Victor Avenue, Snow Street, Johnson Avenue, Poplar Drive, Pelham Street and Maplewood Circle, and newer streets such as Village Mill Drive, Twill Road, Edward Mosley Way and Conductor Circle.
The city’s comprehensive plan update says apartments are under construction at the former Victor Park, and that the city sold the property that held the aging Victor Gym while it designs a new sports and events center.
