The 15 public schools serving Greer, in two districts and two charters: addresses, grades, 2025-26 enrollment, state ratings.

Department of Education’s 2025-26 report card data file; the federal NCES school directory and Private School Survey.

Greer’s public schools are run by two school districts, because the city sits in two counties. Greenville County Schools, which serves the Greenville County part of the city, most of it, runs 11 schools with Greer addresses, plus a career center. Spartanburg District Five serves Greer’s Spartanburg County side. The city itself does not run schools, and school zones do not follow city limits: some homes with a Greer mailing address are zoned for schools in Taylors or Duncan, and two schools listed here sit miles outside the city.
